JCU Cares, a program under Jewel City United, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides need-based assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. Through our grant program, eligible applicants may receive support for essential needs such as food, emergency housing, utilities, and other basic living expenses.
The purpose of this program is to promote stability, reduce the impact of economic insecurity, and ensure that vulnerable households within our community have access to critical resources. All grants are awarded based on demonstrated need and available funding, in accordance with our charitable mission and IRS regulations governing nonprofit organizations.

Our organization provides access to food assistance, emergency housing support, financial-aid referrals, youth programs, mental-health resources, and other critical services. We work closely with local partners, schools, and organizations to ensure families in Jewel City can easily find the help they need during times of hardship.
